I been fretting about this stupid blogger thingy and it make pork cannot upload the hamster pictures. Damm. Of cause i also cannot put it in colour font. Damm lo. Hmm, wondering what we'll be doing. =D Thursday, July 16, 2009  To compare with the last HP movie (Order Of The Phoenix), one can say that the first thing one realises is that Emma Watson has improved a little since her ghastly performance in the last movie.For those of you who read the books, there will be some missing parts missing (which I am sure will not hinder those who have never touched a page of it) and this might disappoint those who have read it say, twelve times. The plot remains true to the book, retaining its dark undertone. Performances from actors such as Grint, Rickman and Broadbent are thoroughly interesting, and special kudos for Michael Gambon, who succeeds in making everybody sympathise with Dumbledore (and even love him) this time around, instead of his usual mysterious non-explanatory self. There is more substance, emotion and expression in the storyline - even humour.In terms of cinematography, the stylised shot is more than welcoming. There are a few scenes that are interesting without feeling forced. The part where Dumbledore casts fires around himself is similar to the illustration in the original book, something this reviewer appreciates very much. Then there are simple yet very editorial shots like the one with Dumbledore and Harry talking while facing a billboard showing a "Muggle" perfume ad, and a shot of Fawkes (the phoenix) flying away from a window view. Grand indeed.However, a warning to those who do not like the fifth installment - you may not like this one either. A Harry Potter film is more than just magic and fantasy. What makes it strong and popular is J. K. Rowling's gift of storytelling, blending the magic of Enid Blyton and mystery of Arthur Conan Doyle. As such, its films must convey that gift and nobody else can do it better than David Yates. There is not much change in his direction, but truth be told, of all the directors who did a Potter film, one reckons Yates is the most true to the original storyline. In the end, that's the most important detail. Well, what i think about this movie? I dont think it's really nice, guess i never watch the last 2 movies before this movie. LOL. Friday, July 10, 2009     .jpg) Thursday, July 9, 2009  In the first instalment, we saw our sub-zero heroes protect a lost human infant, then nail-bitingly watched them escape from the massive flood caused by the melted iceberg in "The Meltdown" and now they've discovered a whole new underground world in "Dawn Of The Dinosaurs." The third instalment of "Ice Age" serves up as a refreshing animation featuring many new exciting characters: Scratte, a female sabre-tooth squirrel, Buck, a one-eyed dino-hunting weasel and a wide variety of giant dinosaurs (this time, Manny and Ellie aren't the only large mammals we see). It was a wise move from the award winning creators as they managed to keep the film fresh and exciting, whilst keeping the charm of the original stars: Manny the woolly mammoth, Sid the sloth, Diego the sabre-toothed tiger and Scrat the hapless squirrel/rat.As the story goes, Manny and Ellie are having a baby together and this causes Sid to feel left out and want to have a family of his own, while Diego believes that he has turned domesticated. While all eyes are on Sid, he discovers three dinosaur eggs in an underground ice cave and cares for them as his own kids, decorating their shells with happy faces. Chaos then breaks loose when mom dinosaur comes in search for her children and ends up taking her hatched kids away as well as Sid. Thus, Manny, Ellie, Diego and Ellie's 'brothers' Crash and Eddie venture into an underground world of dinosaurs to rescue Sid.The new world that we see here in "Ice Age" comes across as a highly upgraded version of the classic 2-D cartoon "The Land Before Time." It is rich with vibrant colours and beautifully detailed scenic landscapes of waterfalls and the prehistoric terrain. From here, the insane character Buck is introduced and is a joy to watch because of his wacky antics of living alone for so long. Making this film into 3-D is an attractive gimmick for fans, but it doesn't really live up to the in-your-face 3-D experience as only one or two scenes have the objects protruding out of the screen. It might not be worth the fraction increase of the 3-D ticket pricing, but it does make the colours stand out more."Ice Age 3" has a couple of laugh-out-loud scenes and maintains its children-friendly jokes and sarcastic humour. The scenes involving Scrat and Scratte are irresistibly adorable as the creators played around with exaggerated expressions and comical actions. Watching them chase after the elusive acorn is a good escape from the search-and-rescue mission that our heroes are going through. Lastly, the soundtrack tunes and lyrics are witty, funny, melodic and influenced from the 1970's, which paired up well with the story. Overall, a good movie for the whole family. Watch tis movie today with porky. It was nice, didnt catch the 3D version as porky said it was expensive and not worth it. Some people said it's giddy. I guess cause i wear specs and need wear 2. Lol. Oh ya, eat snacks and drinks. Admit that the three dinos were damm cute. Haha, especially when they copy Sid. =D. Peaches the baby girl mammoth was cute. Lol. Makes me thought of having babies. =X. Hmm, think too far le. Haha. Then inside got 1 line that say softie sial. Walao. =). Buck was funny. I also love the part when they wanted to go through the path which they wanted to take a cable. They cannot breathe if not they die from laughter. They keep laughing and their voices change. Lol. So damm funny la. =D. Scrat and Scratte was funny when they snatch the nut. And the background songs simply match the scene. Haha. =D. Keep laughing and all. Today was fun day. ^^. Saturday, July 4, 2009 .jpg) .jpg)    .jpg)     yoz...im back from long time not posting....ytd was my birthday!!!I am 19 yo now!!yeahhhh........did not post ytd becus was too late when i reached home...haha....had swensens wif my dear momochops. momo ate chilli crab pasta.....i ate beef meatball baked pasta!!!...lol...i had passionfruit ice blend & momo had soursop ice blend for drinks!!!!..keke...and we also ate topless 5 icecream...lol...with 5 flavours of durian, hazelnut, strawberry solbert, lime solbert and black forest....lol...the food was all very nice n well done...lol...i luv my birthday dinner and the whole celebration...^^....i had a billabong wallet from momo.....and also had a knuckle breaker tamiya mini-4wd car, a tomy 1:64 scale subaru wrx and also a dogtag keychain with my name on it....=D...im so happy of my 19th birthday!!!...i love momo and my frens that gave mi all the greetings and presents!!!LOVE U ALL SO MUCH!!!!!thank you!!!^^pics will be posted a moment from now=)....okie...tats all....take care guys...bye! I go make my things and all and prepare for the big day. ^^. Thursday, July 2, 2009 Today playing audition and doing my CMB project. Hmm, just now try fixing it by converting it to 2003 version. Sat at chair, chit chat awhile before strolling off to basement. Cayln and me bought azabu sabo ice cream, i think like that spell. Mine was green mint, hers was sesame. Sinyee bought cone. So went to play garena. Sinyee continued to play while cayln go watch anime. =D. Play around 1hour plus. Went to grand cathy to toilet then go basement to buy chicken chops. Ermm, the shop change. So wierd. =.=. And the chicken so little. Yet it charges 3.50. Damm scam. So, went home happily while i take bus and both of them take trains. So tired. Haiz. That lan just cannot play audition.
