Yesterday went to watch ninja assassin. It was nice, bloody and gory. =D. I was able to eat nachos and drinking coffee while watching the show. LOL! Not much people as this show is old. November 26 de. =.=. Finally it's holidays. With projects and studying around. I doubt i would enjoy this 3 weeks holidays. Haiz. WHY????? I Dont feel like going to chalet but, if never go, what would happen, if i go, what would happen? Haiz. Just hope that on that day i would get sick and dont need to fan about it. Below is a movie review by yahoo: South Korean popstar Rain plays a lean, mean, murdering machine who endlessly cuts, slashes and slices up his enemies - but also manages to keep a warm heart for the ladies. Rain's action scenes as Raizo, an assassin who plots revenge against the Ninja organisation called Ozunu Clan which trained him to become a killing machine, turned out to be far more intense than seen in the trailer video. Directed by James McTeigue ("V For Vendetta") and produced by the Wachowski brothers ("The Matrix" trilogy), the movie runs thin on plot and bears a thrilling yet gruesome action sequences that will make it worthy of a slasher movie as it contains a lot of bloody scenes where limbs are decapitated, earning a rating that is 18SG. Definitely not meant for kids, and insisting that it's not for teens either. Calling in the stunt choreographers from "The Matrix" and "V For Vendetta", it has live action stunt work that is as realistic as it can get with minimal usage of wires. They've even brought in free-runners and acrobats from Jackie Chan's stunt team in order to achieve a non wire-assisted standard and to make the stunts more towards real acrobatics. You won't be seeing people nonsensically floating and flying from one spot to another like Gianna Jun in "Blood: The Last Vampire". The graphics and visual effects here is highly reflective of "The Matrix" as you watch Raizo dart away from shurikens (known as throwing stars) and fight off guys with his trusty chain with a blade on end. It also bears an over the top visual style effect that is similar to "300" such as blood bubbling up out of a guy's chest. As with every Asians involved in a martial arts/action movie, there will always the inescapable corny dialogue. This time, focusing on the human heart. Too corny in fact that it might strike up a giggle or two. Although Rain expresses himself much better in Korean dramas and films, it's a no-brainer that he's putting a lot of effort into this movie, going on a strict diet of chicken breast and boiled veggies, and training himself six hours a day for eight months in order to get those solid abs. No doubt he has a lot of brushing up to do on his English, but as a skilled ninja in combat, he does a good job. Converse less and fight more is a good option for this budding Hollywood actor. "Ninja Assassin" packs a punch in action if you're into ultra violent movies. Meanwhile, Rain's female fans won't be disappointed as he maintains his suave style and shows off his killer body throughout the movie. |
